CBP Revises AII, HTS, ISF CATAIR Chapters, Etc.

CBP has posted Amendment 1 to the Customs and Trade Automated Interface Requirements document. The following CATAIR chapters and appendices have been revised since the April 2011 version of the CATAIR was released1:

Antidumping/Countervailing Duty Query.

  • Record Identifier C -- Made edits in introduction paragraph. Added “Note 1” to “Case Number” data element.

Automated Invoice Interface

  • Record Identifier C13 -- Made edits in Notes 1 and 2.
  • Record Identifier C43 -- Made edits in Notes 1 and 2.

Daily Statement

  • Record Identifier Q1 -- Made edits in description of data element “Consolidated Indicator”.

Harmonized Tariff Schedule

  • Record Identifier V3 -- Added codes to Note 2.

Importer Security Filing

  • Added New Record Identifier SF13.
  • Record Identifier SF10 (Input) -- Made edits to data element “ISF Submission Type” and “Date of Birth” description. Added “Note 6” to “SCAC Identifier” data element. Changed existing Note 6 to Note 7. Made edits to Notes 1, 2, 4, & 7.
  • Record Identifier SF20 (Input) -- Made edits to data element “Reference Identifier” and to Notes 1 and 2.
  • Record Identifier SF30 (Input) -- Made edits to data element “County Code”. Added new data elements “Date of Birth” & “Filler”. Made edits to Note 2, Codes 34 and AEF. Added new Note 3.

Appendix A - Cross Reference

  • Added new data element from new Record Identifier SF13.

Appendix P - FTZ Error Messages

  • Deleted Code 039 and made edits in description of Codes 026 and 044.
