Quantity or Scope of Items May Not be Exceeded for DSP-61 Entry

DDTC has added a section to its guidance entitled "Decrementation of DSP-61 Licenses," as follows:

"While a DSP-61 is authorized for single entry/exit, this entry/exit is authorized per line item identified on the license. If the initial entry/exit is for only a portion of the license, the license does not expire and will remain valid for the remaining line items/quantities. At no time may the quantity or scope be exceeded."

(DDTC previously updated this guidance in May 2010 to remove paper transmittal letter instructions, as all DSP-61 and DSP-73 license applications must be submitted electronically via D-Trade2. See ITT's Online Archives or 06/09/10 news, 10060932, for BP summary.)
