The Fact Sheet lists the benefits available to rail and ocean carriers with Portal Accounts, how to apply for an account, and how to obtain additional information about the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).
It also states that CBP plans to replace the Automated Manifest System (AMS) with ACE as the CBP-approved Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system for all rail and sea data submissions in 2012.
