APHIS Updates Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Manuals
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has updated the following PPQ electronic manuals as of August 22, 2011 (since August 15):

- Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual - Changes were in three areas: screening wood to determine admissibility, new approved facility for the CFIA Export Certificate and Approved Facilities list, and added definitions for "primary processing" and "regulatory article." 08/15/11 (here)
- Canadian Border Agricultural Clearance Manual - Updated list of laboratories authorized to issue seed analysis certificates. 08/15/11 (here)
- Cut Flowers and Greenery Import Manual - Many tables were revised to be more accurate. 08/15/11 (here)
- Treatment Manual - Correction is made to T101-b-1 for asparagus. 08/18/11 (here)
- Manual for Agricultural Clearance - The list of Western Region PPQ Identifiers and Co-Lateral National Specialists were update on Appendix G. 08/18/11 (here)
- FAVIR and the Fruits and Vegetables Manual - Information regarding Israel squash flower, Philippine mango, and South Africa persimmon was updated. In addition, for South Africa citrus: replace “citrus” with specific varieties of citrus that are admissible. Also the country of South Sudan was added. 08/18/11 (here)
