CBP Posts Updated CAMIR Documents for Ocean ACE M1

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted the following documents for the Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR) for Ocean ACE M1:

  • Automated Manifest Download - Provides descriptions and format requirements for each data element contained within an Automated Manifest Download transmission sent as output to a port authority or service bureau. (here)
  • In-Bond & Vessel Departure/Arrival Message - Provides descriptions and format requirements for each data element contained within a transaction record input by a carrier, port authority, or service bureau to transmit in bond or vessel departure/arrival to the CBP Data Center. (here)
  • Supplemental/Subsequent In-Bond Application - Provides descriptions and format requirements for each data element contained within a transaction record created to transmit supplemental/subsequent in bond movement information without deleting or adding to an existing Bill of Lading record. A Subsequent In-bond number is associated with a previously defined in-bond number. A Supplemental In-bond does not have a previously defined in-bond number. (here)
  • Input to CBP - Provides descriptions and format requirements for each data element contained within a transaction record input by a carrier, NVOCC, port authority, or service bureau to transmit data to the CBP Data Center. (here)
  • Permit to Transfer - Provides descriptions and format requirements for each data element contained within a transaction record authorizing a permit to transfer (PTT) movement. (here)
