Open ACE ESAR A2.2 Programming Issues (1 Closed, 1 Added)
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted an updated version of its spreadsheet of ACE ESAR A2.2 (Initial Entry Types) programming issues.

(ESAR A2.2 allows for the filing and processing of formal (type 01) and informal (type 11) entry summaries for those who volunteer to submit such entry summaries in ACE. It also allows importers with ACE accounts (and brokers if granted cross account access) to respond to certain CBP forms via the ACE portal. CBP sources note that about 41 entities are filing entry summaries in ACE, and that ACE entry summaries represent less than 1% of all summaries filed.)
One Programming Issue Moved to Closed List
One programming issue was moved from the “Open” list to the “Closed” list with this update:

One Programming Issue Added to the Open List
With this update, CBP has newly listed the following programming issue as "Open":

| 12/08/11 | ACE Entry Summary Rejected for HTS Not Active. A filer submitted an ACE entry summary transaction on 12/7/11 using HTS number 6115210010 which ACE rejected as not active. The Line Action Date used to validate the HTS number will be set equal to the estimated entry date -- which in the entry summary transaction is 12/03/11. The HTS number is active in ACS for the Line Action Date of 12/3/11 - valid 1/1/2011 thru 12/31/11. |
