The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has updated the following PPQ electronic manuals through December 19, 2011 (since the last update dated December 9):

Fruit and Vegetables Manual & Import Requirements (FAVIR) Database. These have been updated (1) Chile: added Cape gooseberry to the list of admissible commodities [APHIS Docket 10-032-2 effective December 16, 2011], (2) Mexico: added three new papaya orchards (3 Tesoros in Tapachula, Adelaido Gordillo Enriquez in Chiapa de Corzo, and Santa Lucia in Acapetahua) to the papaya export program (12/16/11) (here and here)
Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual. Changes have been made as follows:(1) Page 1-4 change: deleted “chestnuts” from first bullet, (2) Table 3-43 Citrus change: added second row to table, (3) Table 3-114 Nuts (including palm kernels) change: changed language in sixth column (Then:), last row, (4) Table 3-115 Nuts—unprocessed nuts out of their husks, shelled or unshelled, from other than Canada or Mexico change: deleted “T101-u-1” from fifth column (Then:), second cell; changed language in fifth column (Then:), fifth and sixth cells; changed language in note at the bottom of the table (12/19/11) (here)
Postentry Quarantine Manual. Changes have been made to Appendix A Directory of PPQ Postentry Quarantine Liaison Officers change: PEQLO information has been updated for Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. (12/19/11) (here)
