(In October 2011, CBP stated that it was continuing to roll out new ISF capabilities every month. For example, CBP stated it planned for Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) ISF reports to be married to the ACE Portal importer reports for entry summaries. CBP also stated that it was looking at ISF query capability, such as bill of lading (BOL) status queries, as well as carrier reports, because carriers have not been able to receive their ISF compliance information to date. According to CBP, the lack of carriers' visibility to their compliance rating has been one of the several reasons CBP has been hesitant to enforce the ISF. See ITT's Online Archives 11100402 for summary.)
1The CSMS message also reminds filers that the "By Filer By Importer Report" is available in both a PDF and an Excel format.
