APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Feb 8-10
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has updated the following PPQ electronic manuals through February 10, 2012 (since the last update dated February , 2012):

- Treatment Manual. The online Treatment Manual has been revised. The reason for the revision was to add pomegranate from India to the list of commodities approved for irradiation treatment using T105-a-2. [Docket # APHIS-2011-0087 effective 02/10/12] (02/10/2012) (here)
- Fruits and Vegetables Manual/FAVIR Database. The online version of the Fruits and Vegetables Manual and the FAVIR database have been updated. - Manual for Agricultural Clearance. The online version of the Manual for Agricultural Clearance has been revised to update the List of PPQ National Specialists for Mailing URGENT Interceptions Only. (02/08/2012) (here)
- Cut Flowers and Greenery Import Manual. The online version of the Cut Flowers and Greenery Import Manual has been revised to update the import requirements for cut flowers and greenery from specific countries. (02/08/2012) (here)
