Korea & Mexico Fridge-Freezers: ITC Finds Negative Final Injury; AD/CV Duties to End
The International Trade Commission determined that a U.S. industry is not materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports of bottom mount refrigerator-freezers from Korea that the International Trade Administration has determined are subsidized and from Korea and Mexico that the ITA has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value.

As a result of the ITC's negative final injury determinations, these AD/CV investigations will be terminated and no antidumping or countervailing duty orders will be issued on imports of these products from Korea and Mexico.
Suspension of Liquidation to End, Cash Deposits / Bonds Will be Released
The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to end suspension of liquidation and to release any cash deposits or bonds. This ending of suspension of liquidation will be effective on the date of publication of the ITC’s notice of its negative final determination in the Federal Register.
