The EPA DIS Pilot will allow parties who have been accepted in previous ESAR tests and who file entry summaries in ACE to submit EPA documents and forms for importing Vehicles and Engines or TSCA substances via the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) in an Extensible Markup Language (XML) format, said CBP. The pilot enables participating importers and brokers to transmit images of specified EPA forms for Vehicles and Engines or certifications for TSCA substances via EDI in XML format, in lieu of conventional paper methods.
