Rep. Brady Will Speak at CBP Trade Symposium

House Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee Chairman Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) will be the keynote speaker at CBP's annual trade symposium, the agency said in a press release. The symposium will be at the Renaissance DC Downtown Hotel, Washington, D.C., Oct. 29-30. The event is sold out, though online registration is available (here).

Among the topics at the symposium will be government-to-government initiatives such as the National Strategy for Global Supply Chain Security and the National Export Initiative. Other topics will be Authorized Economic Operator programs, and Mutual Recognition Arrangements. The theme of the symposium is Expanding 21st Century Global Partnerships.
