BIS Removes Five, Modifies One Entry on Entity List

The Bureau of Industry and Security issued a final rule, effective Jan. 16, removing from the Entity List four persons, modifying one entry, and removing another redundant entry. Some of these changes resulted from the End-user Review Committee’s annual review of entities in the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Cyprus, France, and Iran.

Five Entries Removed from Entity List

BIS is removing the following two persons from France because of successful petitions for removal from the Entity List. Both were added in an April 25, 2012 final rule. The removed entities are as follows:

France

  • Laurence Mattiucci
  • Toulouse Air Spares SAS

BIS is also removing two entities from the U.A.E. on the basis of the End-user Review Committee’s annual review. These two persons are as follows:

U.A.E.

  • Abubakr Abuelazm
  • Advanced Technology General Trading Company

Finally, BIS inadvertently added a redundant entry for a person in Russia, and is now removing that entry from the Entity List. The redundant entry is as follows:

Russia

  • Bolshaya Semenovskaya

One Entity List Entry Modified

BIS is modifying an entry from Finland to correct a misspelling in its final rule issued Oct. 9. The modified entry and its correct spelling is as follows:

  • Olkebor Oy/Nurminen Oy
