APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for July 22
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes July 18 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes were made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed below.
Chapter 3-8 Live Animals and Related Material
- Table 3-8-4 Micro-Organisms - new information has been added to the existing table
Chapter 3-13 Foreign-Origin Swine Meat and Meat Products
- Table 3-13-1 Swine Meat, Swine Meat Products, and Swine Meat By-Products - footnote #2 has been added to the 10th cell in the first column (If the importation is:)
