Department of Commerce Announces CINTAC Meeting Date, Releases Agenda

The Department of Commerce announced the location and agenda for a meeting of the Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee (CINTAC), scheduled on Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EDT) in Washington, D.C. During the meeting, CINTAC intends to establish and organize subcommittees, as well as announce chair and vice-chair positions. A public comment period will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. For consideration during the meeting and to ensure transmission to the Committee beforehand, any member of the public may submit written comments by Aug. 23.

Public seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the public who wish to attend must notify Mr. David Kincaid at david.kincaid@trade.gov by 5 p.m. on Aug. 23 to pre-register for clearance into the building. Individuals wishing to reserve speaking time during the meeting’s public comment period must also contact Mr. Kincaid and submit a brief statement of the general nature of their comments, with the name and address of the proposed participant, by 5 p.m. on Aug. 23. Commerce may conduct a lottery to determine the speakers, as there is a limited time slot, it said.
