APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for July 31
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes July 31 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

AQIM Handbook: The Agricultural Quarantine Inspection Manual (AQIM) Handbook was revised. There were several reasons for the revision:
- Add a new Appendix F that provides interim instructions for completion of AQIM data worksheets and AQAS AQIM data entry for actions on wood packing material in cargo
- Revise the website address for AQAS
Changes, indicated by black change bars in the left margin, are found on pages 4-3-9, 4-4-9, 4-7-8, 4-9-8, 4-12-1, and a new Appendix F.
