BIS Schedules Meetings on Export Enforcement, Automated Export System, Etc.

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security issued on Aug. 26 notices of partially closed meetings to be held on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11. On Sept. 10 at 9 a.m., the bureau’s Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee (RPTAC) will meet to discuss updates to Export Enforcement, Regulations and the Automated Export System. The meeting (here) will be held in the Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington D.C. The open session will be accessible via teleconference to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. To join the conference, submit inquiries to Ms. Yvette Springer at Yvette.Springer@bis.doc.gov no later than Sept. 3, 2013. A limited number of seats will be available for the public session and reservations are not accepted.

A limited number of seats will be available during the public session of the meeting and reservations are not accepted. To the extent time permits, members of the public may present oral statements to the Committee. The public may submit written statements at any time before or after the meeting.
