APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Sept. 6-15
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Sept. 6-15 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Cut Flowers and Greenery Import Manual: The online Cut Flowers and Greenery Import Manual (here) was revised to do the following:
- Add entry requirements for Ulmus spp.
- Update the index.
Changes, indicated by black change bars in the left page margins, are on the following pages:
- Chapter 2: Procedures: Page 2-28.
- Chapter 3: Reference: Page 3-58.
- Index: Pages Index-1 through Index-26 (replace the entire index).
Treatment Manual: The USDA APHIS PPQ Treatment Manual (here) was revised. The reason for the revision was to correct treatment schedules T203-d-1, T203-d-2, and T203-c-1. Changes are located on pages 5-3-36 and 5-3-37.
Agricultural Clearance Manual: The online Manual for Agricultural Clearance (here) was revised to update the special procedures for suspect Asian Gypsy Moth (AGM) ships. Changes, indicated by black change bars in the left page margin, are on the following pages: Chapter 3: Examining Carriers: Section 3: Clearing Vessels: Pages 3-3-28 through 3-3-56. Pagination, but not content, was changed on subsequent pages in Section 3.
