FTZ Approves Cleveland FTZ Reorganization and Expansion

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board approved the expansion and reorganization under the Alternative Site Framework (ASF) of FTZ 40 in Cleveland, Ohio. The reorganization, which was requested in May by the Cleveland-Cuyahoga Port Authority (see 13052319), expands the FTZ’s service area to cover Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lorain Counties, Ohio. ASF streamlines processes for designation of new FTZ subzones and usage-driven sites within the larger service area.
