APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Oct. 30
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Oct. 30 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Costa Rica Dracaena Facility List: The list of APHIS-Approved Facilities Authorized to Export Dracaena spp. from Costa Rica to the Continental United States (here) was updated, 10/2013-14, to add a facility. Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin, are as follows:
- Page 2: Added Felix Castro Rodriguez, registry no. 3314
PPQ Identifier and Specialist List: The List of PPQ Identifiers, and Collateral and National Specialists was updated, 10/2013-08, to change addresses and phone numbers. Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin of each revised page, are as follows:
- Page 2: Changed the address and phone numbers for the Port of Atlanta, Georgia plant inspection station identifiers
- Page 22: Changed the address of and added a phone number for the Cecidomyiidae (Diptera) specialist for Routine and Prompt interceptions
