APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Oct. 31
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Oct. 31 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes were made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed below.
Chapter 3-8 Live Animals and Related Material
- Page 3-8-19 paragraph prior to Table 3-8-18 - reference to Table 2-4-10 was added
- Table 3-8-18 Test Kits and Kit Components - first column (If:), first cell=3 new bullets were added; third column (And the importation:), first, second, fifth, and sixth cells=language was changed; fourth column (Then:), first and second cells=directions were changed; footnote #1 was edited
