APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Nov. 1
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Nov. 1 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Arava Valley Greenhouses List: The list of registered greenhouses for peppers (here) in Arava Valley, Israel, was updated.
Treatment Manual: The USDA APHIS PPQ Treatment Manual (here) was revised. The expiration date for the methyl bromide Section 18 crisis exemption was extended to Dec. 11, 2013. The change is located on page 2-3-4.
