ITC Reschedules Deadlines in EU Trade Barrier Investigation

The International Trade Commission rescheduled public hearings, slated to be held in Washington, D.C., on trade barriers to European Union exports for U.S. small- and medium-sized enterprises, and changed dates for filing written submissions, and the transmittal of the final report. The changes are the result of the lapse in appropriations during the October federal government shutdown. The public hearing is now scheduled for Nov. 20 at 9:30 a.m. The following dates are also revised:

  • Nov. 12: Deadline for filing requests to appear at Washington hearing.
  • Nov. 13: Deadline for filing pre-hearing briefs and statements.
  • Nov. 20: Public hearing.
  • Dec. 2: Deadline for filing post-hearing briefs.
  • Dec. 2: Deadline for filing all other written submissions.
  • Feb. 28: Transmittal of Commission report to the USTR.
