Effective Oct. 1, GenCorp Inc. acquired Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Division, United Technologies Corporation. GenCorp Inc. then merged Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne with Aerojet-General Corporation changed the company name to Aerojet Rocketdyne, Inc. (here).
