APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Jan. 6
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Jan. 6 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Gypsy Moth Manual: The Gypsy Moth Program Manual (here) was revised to update the following:
- Information on survey records and maps
- Link to Program Aid No. 2147, It’s the Law: Before Moving, Check for the Gypsy Moth
- Information on reporting mass trapping results
Changes, indicated by black change bars in the left page margins, are on the following pages:
- Chapter 2: Detection Survey: Page 2-14.
- Chapter 3: Delimiting Survey: Page 3-9.
- Chapter 6: Regulatory Section Introduction: Pages 6-3 and 6-4.
- Chapter 19: Eradication Using Mass Trapping: Page 19-6.
