APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for April 24

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes April 24 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Seeds Not for Planting: The Seeds Not for Planting Manual (here) was updated, 04/2014-66, to change a certification date. Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin, are on the following pages:

  • Page 3-42: Changed M/s A.S.A. Agrotech's certification end date to 04/30/2015
  • Page 3-47: Corrected Prunus yedoensis and Prunus x effusa
