Domain names with the most signups include illinois.edu (496), utexas.edu (290) and berkeley.edu (232), it said. The bitcoin promotion follows a similar strategy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Bitcoin Club, which raised the funds to give $100 of bitcoin to all 4,528 of MIT’s undergraduates, said a press release (http://bit.ly/1mTYSeu) last month.
