New requests for scope rulings were filed with the Commerce Department during the week of Aug. 4-11. The agency will determine whether the following products are subject to antidumping and countervailing duties.

Aluminum extrusions from China (A-570-967/C-570-968) - Hatteras Hammocks' woven chair seats and woven chair backs imported from China. The seats and backs consist of aluminum frames covered by polypropylene ropes. CBP issued a ruling classifying them under Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 9401.90.5021 as chair parts. Filed Aug. 11.
