Markwins Int'l Corp. challenging CBP's denial of protests on the classification of cosmetic sets. CBP classified the merchandise under subheadings 4202.19.0000 (20%), 4202.92.4500 (20%), 4202.92.9060 (18.3%) and 4202.99.9000 (20%). Markwins says it should have instead been classified under subheadings 3304.99.5000 (free) and 8214.20.9000 (4.1%). #14-00266. Summons filed Oct. 14.

Icdas Celik Enerji Tersane ve Ulasim Sanayi A.S. challenging the Commerce Department’s final affirmative countervailing duty determination on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey. #14-00267. Summons filed Oct. 14.

Rebar Trade Action Coalition challenging the Commerce Department’s final negative antidumping duty determination on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey. #14-00268. Summons filed Oct. 14.

ADC Telecommunications placing on the reserve calendar a challenge to CBP's classification of its value added modules entered between December 2012 and May 2013, including wavelength division multiplexers, passive optical splitter modules, and monitor modules. CBP classified them under subheading 9013.80.9000 (4.5%). ADC argues they should have been classified under subheading 8517.62.0050 (free). #14-00269. Filed Oct. 15.

Rebar Trade Action Coalition challenging the Commerce Department’s final affirmative countervailing duty determination on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey. #14-00270. Summons filed Oct. 15.

New Image Global, Inc. challenging CBP's denial of protests on the weight and internal revenue tax assessed on its various tobacco products, namely cigar wraps. #14-00271. Summons filed Oct. 17.

ADC Telecommunications challenging CBP's classification of its value added modules entered in December 2012, including wavelength division multiplexers, passive optical splitter modules, and monitor modules. The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Oct. 13-19:

Nan Ya Plastics Corporation challenges a CIT ruling from Aug. 14 sustaining a 74.34% antidumping duty rate for Nan Ya in the final results of the 2009-10 administrative review on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, sheet and strip from Taiwan. #15-1054. Filed Oct. 16.
