APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Jan. 14
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Jan. 14 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Export Program Manual: The Export Program Manual (XPM) (here) has been updated. Updates are indicated by change bars on the left hand margin of the pages affected. The following sections of the XPM have been updated:

- Accreditation, Seed Health Accreditation, Page 2-1-2: Two minor wording edits
- Additional Declarations (ADs) Policy, Page 2-1-3: Removed paragraph on “Amending an Additional Declaration”

- Pest Free Area (PFA) or Pest Free Place of Production (PFPP), Page 2-1-11: Added link to IPHIS
