Hartford Fire Insurance Co. challenging CBP's efforts to collect on bonds covering an entry of imported honey. Hartford says the bonds were defective, and in any case CBP's started its collection efforts too late because the entry deemed liquidated in 2008. #15-00010. Summons filed Jan. 14.
The Kalencom Corporation on the classification of paper-covered presentation boxes with the covering paper coated in plastic sheeting of less than 0.15 mm. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 4202.92.9080 (17.6%). Kalencom says it should have instead been classified under subheading 4202.99.1000 (3.4%). #15-00011. Summons filed Jan. 16.
