APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for March 30
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes March 30 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Treatment Manual: The USDA APHIS PPQ Treatment Manual (here) has been revised for the following reasons:
- ​Correct a typographical error in Table 2-3-1 (page 2-3-3)
- Add "Fig" to Table 5-2-4 to align with Docket No. APHIS-14-008-2, effective March 30, 2015 (page 5-2-74)
- Update the address for Cardinal Professional Products (page 8-1-9)
Fruits and Vegetables. The Fruits and Vegetables Manual (here) and the Fruits and Vegetables Import Requirements (FAVIR) database (here) have been revised for the following reasons:
- Add "Fig fruit" to the list of admissible commodities from Mexico (Docket No. 14-008-2, effective March 30, 2015)
- Add "Tejocote fruit" to the list of admissible commodities from Mexico (Docket No. 11-077-2, effective March 30, 2015)
