APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for April 29
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes April 29 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Fruits and Vegetables. The Fruits and Vegetables Manual (here) and the Fruits and Vegetables Import Requirements (FAVIR) database (here) have been revised to align FAVIR and the Manual with Federal Order DA-2015-25, Amendment of Federal Order Restricting Imports of Mediterranean Fruit Fly Host Commodities from the Dominican Republic. This Federal Order was issued April 28, and is effective immediately. Manual changes are located on page 3-98.
