APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for May 1
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes May 1 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Canadian Border: The Canadian Border Agricultural Clearance Manual (here) has been revised to do the following:
- Revise Table 3-71 by adding information on U.S. origin plants returning to the U.S. after having been in Canada for less than one year.
- Conditionally reinstate Hyland Seed Quality Laboratory to the list of Laboratories Authorized to Issue Seed Analysis Certificates. Hyland Seed Quality Laboratory is no longer approved, but SACs issued before 01/23/15 are still valid.
