BIS Proposes Rule to Bring Surveillance Controls in Line with 2013 Wassenaar Accords

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security proposed a rule to implement a set of agreements struck at a Wassenaar Arrangement meeting in December 2013 (here). The agency is also requesting comments on the rule, due July 20.
