APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for June 15
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes June 15 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections:
Chapter 3-4 Camelid and Cervid Products
- Table 3-4-2 Camelid and Cervid Products Locator - (page 1 of 2) footnote indicator #1 has been added to the first cell in the first column (If:); (page 2 of 2) NEW footnote #1 has been added
Chapter 3-9 Gelatin
- Page 3-9-1 paragraph between Notice boxes - paragraph has been revised
Chapter 3-17 Ruminant Products
- Table 3-17-26 Fresh (Chilled or Frozen) Non-Bovine Ruminant Meat (Bone-In or Boneless) - (page 1 of 2) language in the fourth cell of the last column (Then:) has been revised; (page 2 of 2) top two rows have been added
- Table 3-17-28 Fresh (Chilled or Frozen) Bovine Meat (Bone-In or Boneless) and Non-Bovine Ruminant Meat (Bone-In or Boneless) from a Country of Origin Known to be FREE from FMD That Transited a Country Known to be AFFECTED with FMD - top two rows have been added; language in the last cell of the last column (Then:) has been revised
