APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for July 15
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes July 15 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Fruits and Vegetables. The Fruits and Vegetables Manual (here) and the Fruits and Vegetables Import Requirements (FAVIR) database (here) have been revised to add kumquat to the list of approved commodities from Uruguay.
Canadian Border: The Canadian Border Agricultural Clearance Manual (here) has been revised to update the import requirements for Vitis spp. plants from Canada as shown in Table 3-61. The change, indicated by a black change bar in the left page margin, is on Page 3-48 of Chapter 3: Plant.
