APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Sept. 4
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Sept. 4 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

CITES Timber Species: The CITES Timber Species Manual (here) has been updated, 09/2015-45. Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin of each revised page, are as follows:
- Page 2-12: Added Aquilaria spp. and cross references to the Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual and the Plants for Planting Manual
- Page 2-21: Added Gyrinops spp. and cross references to the Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual and the Plants for Planting Manual
- Page 5-1: Removed the name of one designated CITES staff from Nogales Plant Inspection Station
