OFAC Adds Hamas-Linked Individuals, Entity to SDN List
The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control added the following individuals and entities to the Specially Designated Nationals list on Sept. 10 (here):

- Al-Agha, Abu Ubaydah Khayri Hafiz (Saudi Arabia)
- Al-Aruri, Salih (Palestine)
- Awad, Mohammed Reda Mohammed Anwar (Egypt)
- Salah, Mahir Jawad Yunis (United Kingdom/Jordan)
- Asyaf International Holding Group For Trading And Investment (Saudi Arabia)
​Treasury said all those entries have connections to Hamas, the political and military group that governs the Gaza Strip. OFAC added a number of Hamas members to the SDN List in recent days in the wake of State Department action against those individuals (see 1509090024).
