APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Sept. 23
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Sept. 23 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections:
Appendix A Guide to Entry Status of Animal Products in Passenger Baggage
- Table A-1-10 Guide to Entry Status of Meat, Poultry Meat, Egg and Their Products in Passenger Baggage - (page 3 of 9) information in the last three columns of the Canada row has been revised
Appendix G Certificates and Forms
- Page G-1-2 under Contents heading - "Forms from France" has been added
- Page G-1-42 under Forms from France heading - NEW Figure G-1-18 Attestation for Export Shell Eggs, Egg Products, and Products Containing Egg Ingredients to the U.S.A. (two-page figure) has been added
Miscellaneous and Processed Products: The following changes have been made to the Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information:

- Table 3-123 FRESH, CUT fruit - (page 3 of 3) a new facility under compliance has been added to footnote #2
