APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Nov. 2

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Nov. 2 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Postentry Quarantine: The following change has been made to the Postentry Quarantine Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information:

Appendix A Directory of PPQ Postentry Quarantine Liaison Officers

  • Table A-1 Directory of PEQ Liaison Officers (page 5 of 6) - South Carolina PEQ Liaison Officer name and contact information has been updated

Appendix C Directory of SPROs and State PEQ Contacts

  • Table C-1 Directory of State Plant Regulatory Officials and State PEQ Contacts (page 2 of 6) - Hawaii State PEQ name and contact information has been updated
