APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Dec. 24
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Dec. 24 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Seeds Not for Planting: The Seeds Not for Planting Manual (here) has been updated, 12/2015-87, to change the certification end date of an approved heat treatment facility for Guizotia abyssinica (niger) seed. The revision is on page 3-38.
China Ya Pear Packers: The list of registered Ya pear packing houses (here) has been updated, 12/24/15, to remove packing house #130GC001.
Rhipsalidopsis Facilities List: The list of Approved Rhipsalidopsis in Growing Media Facilities (here) has been updated, 12/2015-02, to add a new facility's information to the list.
Schlumbergera Facilities List: The list of Approved Schlumbergera in Growing Media Facilities (here) has been updated, 12/2015-02, to add a new facility's information.
Approved Dracaena Facilities: The list of Approved Dracaena spp. Facilities authorized to export Dracaena spp. from Costa Rica to the continental United States (here) has been updated, 12/2015-28, to change the name and number of an approved facility. Page 3: Ornamentales San Lorenzo, 1654, has been changed to ORNALO S.A., 3564. The location and neighborhood information remain the same.
