FDA Creates New Office for Dietary Supplements

The Food and Drug Administration announced a reorganization of its Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition in order to create a new standalone Office of Dietary Supplement Programs, in a notice (here). Dietary supplements had previously been overseen by a division of the Office of Nutrition, Labeling and Dietary Supplements, which is now renamed the Office of Nutrition and Food Labeling.
