APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for April 6
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes April 6 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections:
Chapter 2-2 Clearing Regulated Cargo
- Table 2-2-7 Inspection of Semen and Embryo Containers - language in the last cell of the second column has been revised
Chapter 3-8 Fomites
- Table 3-8-4 Imported, USED Farm Machinery - language has been revised in the beginning of footnote #1
