by the U.S. trade representative and Chilean negotiators, would allow goods of subheadings 5408.22 and 5408.23 to qualify for preferences under the agreement after a change from certain headings under the same chapter. Currently goods under these subheadings only qualify with a change from another chapter. The ITC’s report on the effects of the change is due to the administration in three months. Comments on the proposed change are due July 11.
