General sought an injunction in Georgia state courts barring Gray from dissolving a joint services agreement for WAGT as part of Gray’s purchase of Schurz stations. The FCC and DOJ said Media General’s request for an injunction was illegal. Media General later filed a complaint that omitted the injunction request, according to the consent decree.
