APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Oct. 12
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Oct. 12 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables and flowers.

Phytophthora Facilities List: The Approved Facilities for Hosts of Phytophthora ramorum list (here) has been updated, 10/2016-18. Registry numbers 21165, 21175, 23378 and 32854 have been approved and added to the list of facilities authorized to export host plants for planting (except seeds) from a country where Phytophthora ramorum (sudden oak death) is present to the U.S.
