Magid Glove & Safety Manufacturing, on the classification of knit fabric gloves covered in polyurethane. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 6116.10.5520 (13.2%). Magid says it should have instead been classified under subheading 3926.20.1050 (free). #17-001, -003 and -004. Filed Jan. 4.
Shin-Etsu MicroSi, on the classification of silicone-based thermal greases. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 3824.90.2800 (6.5%). Shin-Etsu says it should have instead been classified under subheading 3910.00.0000 (3%). #17-002. Filed Jan. 4.
Textiles from Europe, on the classification of a bedding assortment in a reusable PVC storage bag. CBP classified the merchandise under HTS subheading 9404.90.8522, dutiable at 12.8%. Textiles from Europe says it should have been classified under subheadings 9404.90.8522 (12.8%), 6303.92.2050 (11.3%), 6304.93.0000 (9.3%), 9404.90.2000 (6%) and 3924.90.5650 (3.4%). #17-005.
