of the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office of General Counsel from 2007 to 2014, including as chief counsel for China trade enforcement from 2011 to 2014. “Katherine has proven she has the knowledge and experience to tackle and understand our nation’s most pressing trade issues,” Neal said in a statement. “I am confident she will play an important part in helping Democrats improve our nation’s trade policy in the years ahead.” Committee Democrats announced the departure of former chief Democratic trade counsel Jason Kearns on July 28.
