The California Public Utilities Commission -- the last state OK needed -- plans to vote on the deal at its Thursday meeting (see 1710030021). DOJ OK'd the deal last week, and commission OK is expected. “We’re focused on meeting our target transaction closing date of mid-to-late October," a CenturyLink spokeswoman said.
